What is a Sustainable Energy Community

A Sustainable Energy Community (SEC) is a community in which everyone works together to develop a sustainable energy system for the benefit of the community. This is achieved by:

  • Aiming, as far as possible, to be energy efficient

  • Using renewable energy where feasible

  • Adopting smart energy solutions

The aim of Plant and Grow for Tomorrow's Sustainable Energy Community :

Educate, empower, enable businesses, groups, Communities, Organisations and schools about energy and how they can make a difference by implementing relatively simple plans and connecting both to climate change and sustainable development goals.
